Cameron DeBaie, makeup artist and eyelash technician, has been member of the Nova Scotia Cosmetology Association since 2011. Cameron is an extremely passionate advocate for the cosmetology profession, not only in Nova Scotia but in Canada as a whole. Cameron previously served 2 terms as a Board Director and during that time was chair throughout the pandemic shutdown in 2020. He played an integral part in drafting the Cosmetology Association's pandemic guidelines, and was directly involved with navigating the reopening of salons and spas during that time of crisis.
Cameron currently sits on the Association's Finance and HR Committees and very much looks forward to the opportunity to continue advocating for the profession with the government and remains proud (and loud!) of the durability maintained in order to self regulate the profession.
Cameron is open minded and welcomes discussion with members. He will be the voice on the Board and will at the same time, provide clarity and rationale when decisions are made by the Board, for the betterment of the industry.
